Bid Per Position simply means; the highest bidder per category is listed top of category. This means you get found first and foremost; not lost amongst hundreds of other listings. As the highest sitewide bidder you also have the privilege of being listed upon the homepage as the "Highest Bidder." We have set a default for our own directories at $100 initially, which means directory owners must bid above this amount to take the privilege of homepage listing. Our own network directories cannot legally bid against listed bidders.
Initial Submission
When submitting you can choose how much to initially bid or leave the bid price at 0.00 which presents only the initial submission fee of $1.00 (purely to reduce spam). Leaving the bid price at 0.00 will rank your site alphabetically. If you increase your bid upon initial submission you will then rank by bid price, then alphabetically, ie. two listings have the same bid alphabetical ranking precendence is used.
If you choose to bid from initial submission, change the amount in the bid option to your desired amount. This figure will be the bid above the initial submission fee of $1.00; ie. if you bid $20.00 upon initial submission then your payment will be $21.00.
Increase Bid Once Listed
If your listing is already live then to increase your bid is an automatic process. First find your listing within the directory; use the "modify" option beside your listing.

Now you will be presented with the following page and choose the "Increase Bid" option, in which you must use your password entered upon submission to access your listing; or enter your email used upon submission to retrieve a new password; or use the contact form and send us your email address from the domain name itself, ie. webmaster@submitted-domain.com. We will not accept an email address that has a different domain than the one listed (NO EXCEPTIONS). We will then enter this email against your listing, notify you, and you can retrieve a password.
DO NOT use the "Review Listing" option if all you want is to increase your bid amount, as this requires an editor to review your submission changes and is not automatic. If you want to increase your bid and make changes, then feel free to use this method and be aware it is subject to review.

You will now only be able to change your bid amount, being to increase it. If you want to increase your bid by $20.00, just enter 20.00 into the bid box and continue processing.
